Another addition to my floor! I really like having unlimited canvas space! A couple of my friends, Ryan and Marni, were at my house last night. They suggested that I start using parts of the floor as a space to experiment with drawings that have an illusionary 3-d effect to them. Ideas included peeling back the edges of the floor, lifted floorboards or even a trap door. So this is my very small version of such. I quite like it. I think I'll do more things like this.

Over the weekend we emptied my room of all contents and pulled up all the carpet in preparation for new flooring (which I suggest will take some time). This means that I have decided to attack the concrete floor which has been revealed with pens and paint. Hopefully I will slowly fill the space, also hopefully with the help of some friends. Maddie already helped by adding a quote she may wish to have tattooed in the future. One day I hope someone pulls up the floors and gets quite the surprise!
